Summary

The Lifesaving Society’s Occupational Aquatic Safety Training is designed to teach employees who work in, on, or around water to be safe and to respond in case of an aquatic emergency.

Training is a blend of classroom and water activities. The training is designed to be interactive and participative.

Training provided in partnership with Lifesaving Society Saskatchewan.

Length: 8 Hours

Learning Goals and Objectives

Basic Water Rescue:

Designed to enable employees to gain the knowledge and skills needed to save themselves, person supported, or a fellow employee, even if they are unable to swim themselves. Rescues are designed to be performed from a dock or shore.

Cancellation Policy

COR reserves the right to cancel a course 2 weeks prior to the course date if we have not received a minimum number of registrations. If this does occur, participants will have the option to move their registration to a future date or receive a full refund. Please see our full cancellation policy here.
