Person Centered Thinking is indeed a powerful approach that helps me to create more compassionate and inclusive environment. It encourages me to recognize each kid’s uniqueness while respecting their preferences and understanding them as human beings beyond their diagnosis or disabilities.
It was a great introduction to what Gentle Teaching is and how it was created. I enjoyed the warm and engaging environment that COR provided. I felt it was informative and I learned a lot. Level one gave a great introduction that made me excited to take level two.
I appreciated that the FASD training addresses stigma and systematic barriers that create disadvantages for individuals with FASD. Additionally, I have learned how someone with FASD might experience stimuli differently from someone without FASD, which I can be mindful of when I am supporting.
The trainers were very knowledgeable and had good examples. They used good prompts to help us complete the exercises. The workbook was clear and helpful.
Great job, facilitators. Best training I’ve taken in a long time.
Hopefully one day, entire communities can have the benefit of training like this.

This training was very useful. It provided me with lots of additional information that I can use when interacting with someone who may be in crisis. It made me more aware of cues I can look for in someone who may be thinking of suicide.
Information was clear and concise. Allowed for open conversation about suicide. Was easy to follow, comprehend and ask questions during the workshop time.

Lots of activities that got people to participate in different ways. Participants were allowed to share stories and anecdotes. I appreciate every personal story shared, makes this more relatable and so you can see relevance in everyday life. I can imagine myself in the scenarios and case studies.
